At Berean, we seek to touch lives by evangelizing to the lost, edifying the saints and equipping servants for ministry in the world. Our mission is to do everything for God's glory.
Kid's Ministry
At Berean, children are important to us. On Sunday mornings, during the Sunday School hour, a nursery & a Sunday School class for ages 3-18 is available. During the morning worship service, ages 3 and under can use the nursery. Ages 3-10 can go to children's church. Sunday and Wednesday nights a nursery is offered. Additionally on Wednesday's, a youth meeting is held for ages 5-12.
Membership
Anyone who desires to become a member of BIBC, must give a personal testimony that he or she has received Jesus Christ as his or her personal Savior and undergo believer's baptism. He or she then will be required to take a 6 week membership class taught by Pastor Riley. Upon completion of the class the prospective member will meet with the deacon board to give his or her testimony.
Nursing Home Ministry
The first Thursday night of each month, deacon Leon Hinkle and several church members have a service at our local nursing home. This gives the residents a chance to fellowship with the members.
Ladies Fellowship
The Ladies Fellowship meets the second Saturday of each month. They have a time of prayer and devotions. Food and fellowship is also guaranteed!
